Fitme Trust
Editorial and Data Policy
Our goal is for the customer to know exactly what the information displayed on Fitme means, how it got into the catalog, and what to check before making a decision.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to Fitme's catalog of public sports facilities, data-driven research pages and articles published on behalf of Fitme. Private account, personal plan and health related data are not published on public SEO pages.
2. Object data sources
The record can be provided by the facility itself or its authorized representative, collected by the Fitme team from public sources, or imported from a trusted open data source. Where technically possible, we store the source address and update date.
We do not claim information obtained from public sources verbatim as independently verified by Fitme. The approximate address or map pin is shown with a separate sign on the corresponding page.
3. What does "Verified by Fitme" mean?
A verification mark means that the connection of the record to the facility or authorized business account has been verified by Fitme's ongoing process. The mark is not a permanent guarantee of price, hours of operation, security, license or specific service. These terms and conditions are subject to change and should be checked prior to your visit.
4. Search and sort lists
The search first matches the user's chosen category, city, text query and other active filters. Distance can be used when sharing a location. Common lists may also include record verification, rating, number of approved ratings, data completeness, and recent update.
Advertised or VIP placement should be clearly distinguished from organic relevance. Payment does not change the user's rating and does not allow the object to be falsely rated.
5. Editorial materials
A Fitme article must answer the user's actual question, distinguish fact from opinion, and rely on relevant primary sources when making important health or safety claims. The article has a date of publication and, if changed, an update. Fitme's general fitness material does not replace the individual advice of a doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified specialist.
Material published on behalf of the Fitme team is an organizational editorial work. The participation of a specific guest author or expert should be indicated separately on the page and should not be fictitious.
6. Automation and AI
Automation can be used to correct the data format, detect duplicates, create a working version of a translation, or prepare a material structure. An automatically derived result should not become the sole source of factual evidence of high risk. Prior to publication, content is heavily checked for accuracy, source, value added to the user, and relevance to the Fitme theme.
7. Amendment and Update
If you see an error in a post, send us a link to the object, the exact change, and a source of proof. We check the change and, if necessary, correct it or temporarily disable the record. Do not send us personal or health data in a public correction request.
Contact us to correct the data or see Methodology of index of sports facilities.
