Fitme Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This policy explains how Fitme collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the Fitme mobile app and fitme.ge website.

1. Data we process

We may process account and contact details, fitness profile data, health-related preferences you choose to provide, workout and nutrition activity, uploaded photos, location data when enabled, purchase and subscription records, device data, push tokens, diagnostics, and security logs. With your permission, Fitme reads steps, distance, active calories, sleep, weight, heart rate, and workout activity from Apple Health. If you enable workout sync, Fitme writes only workouts completed in the app. Apple Health data is never used for advertising or sold.

2. Sources of data

Data comes from you, your device, permitted system services such as Apple Health and location services, payment providers such as Apple, Google, and Flitt, and essential infrastructure services such as Firebase Crashlytics.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We use data to create and protect your account, personalize workout and nutrition plans, show daily tasks and progress, analyze food or gym-machine photos, confirm purchases and subscription access, send service messages, provide support, detect fraud or misuse, and meet legal and accounting duties.

4. AI and personalization

Fitme uses rules-based systems and AI services for plans, chat replies, scans, and recommendations. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not medical diagnosis or medical advice.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only what is necessary with hosting, security, payment, app-store, analytics, maps, messaging, AI, media-processing, and legal-service providers, or public authorities when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Georgia. In those cases we use contractual, confidentiality, and security safeguards and share only the data needed for the service.

7. Analytics and cookies

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are loaded on the public website only after your analytics consent. You can change or withdraw that choice from the analytics settings link in the site footer.

Meta ads measurement. On the website the Meta Pixel loads only after your consent and only on pages whose address contains no health, workout, trainer or programme data. The Fitme mobile app uses the Meta SDK (App Events) to measure app installs and opens. We send Meta only standard events - completed registration, checkout started and a verified Fitme Pro purchase (amount and currency) - plus the technical data the SDK or Pixel collects automatically (device and browser type, a pseudonymous Meta identifier, IP address). Purchases of App Store and Google Play subscriptions are recorded automatically by the Meta SDK (product, amount and currency). We never send Meta your name, email, phone number or any health, workout, nutrition, weight or progress data, and Advanced Matching is off. We do not request the advertising identifier (IDFA) on iPhone, and the advertising-ID permission is disabled on Android. You can withdraw website consent via the “Analytics settings” link, after which the Meta Pixel no longer loads. Meta's own privacy policy applies to Meta's processing.

8. Retention

Account and fitness-profile data is kept while your account is active. After deletion we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable time, except records that must be kept for financial, legal, security, or dispute reasons.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls, server-side authorization, monitoring, and other reasonable technical and organizational measures. No internet service can be guaranteed absolutely secure.

10. Your rights

Within the limits of applicable Georgian law, you may request access, a copy, correction, update, restriction, deletion, blocking, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection to processing. You may also contact the Georgian Personal Data Protection Service or a court.

11. Device permissions

You control camera, photo, location, motion, and Apple Health access from your device settings. If permission is removed, related features may be limited.

12. Children

Fitme is intended for users aged 16 and older. If we learn that data from a person under 16 was collected without proper consent, we will take reasonable deletion steps.

13. Contact and changes

We may update this policy and will notify users of material changes in the app or on the website. For privacy requests, use Fitme support or the contact channel listed on fitme.ge.

Choice of analytics

With your consent we use web analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure how well our ads work, for example sign-ups and Fitme Pro purchases. We never share health, workout, nutrition, account (name, email, phone), precise location or search data with Meta.
